Why language matters in therapy
Therapy depends on describing what is happening inside you with precision. Many people in Lebanon and across the Arabic-speaking diaspora move between Arabic and English every day, and some experiences are easier to name in one language than the other. With Angela, you don't have to choose in advance or stick to one.
Who Angela sees in Arabic
Angela works with children, teenagers, adults and parents, and treats concerns including anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, trauma, emotional dysregulation and personality disorders. The same structured CBT and DBT approach applies in both languages.
Arabic-speaking clients outside Lebanon
Online sessions by secure video are open to clients abroad, which makes therapy in Arabic possible for people living somewhere Arabic-speaking psychologists are hard to find.
