Who online therapy suits
- People in Lebanon who live outside Greater Beirut, or for whom travel is difficult
- Lebanese and Arabic-speaking people living abroad who want therapy in Arabic
- People whose work or study schedule makes a clinic visit hard to fit in
How online sessions work
Booking happens on WhatsApp, directly with Angela. Tell her who the session is for and what's going on, and she'll suggest times, confirm the fee and send the video link.
Online therapy follows the same path as in-person therapy: a full assessment in session 1, psychoeducation and case formulation in session 2, and a treatment plan from session 3 onward.
Preparing for an online session
- Find a private place where you won't be overheard or interrupted
- Use a stable internet connection, and headphones if others are nearby
- Keep Lebanon's emergency numbers, or your local ones if you're abroad, to hand
